Marie Bukowski is the new director of þҹӰԺѹۿ’s School of Art. Bukowski comes to þҹӰԺѹۿ State from the School of Art and Design at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where she served as director for four years. She also was employed at the School of Art at Louisiana Tech University, where she held a variety of positions over the course of 13 years, including professor of art, graduate program coordinator and B.F.A. Studio program coordinator.
þҹӰԺѹۿ students will soon have a unique opportunity to gain professional money management experience. Starting in the fall, the þҹӰԺѹۿ Foundation will effectively start “hiring” the students to manage current investable assets.
The Student Managed Investment Fund will be the first of its kind at þҹӰԺѹۿ State. The purpose is to give students real-world experience and advance career opportunities.
