Marie Bukowski is the new director of �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ�’s School of Art. Bukowski comes to �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State from the School of Art and Design at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where she served as director for four years. She also was employed at the School of Art at Louisiana Tech University, where she held a variety of positions over the course of 13 years, including professor of art, graduate program coordinator and B.F.A. Studio program coordinator.

�þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� students will soon have a unique opportunity to gain professional money management experience. Starting in the fall, the �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� Foundation will effectively start “hiring” the students to manage current investable assets.

The Student Managed Investment Fund will be the first of its kind at �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State. The purpose is to give students real-world experience and advance career opportunities.

Although Homecoming Week will not take place until Oct. 8-14, it is not too early to start planning your Homecoming events and activities. Many Homecoming activities are already being scheduled, including the Bowman Cup 5K Race, Kiss on the K, the parade and more!

�þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� is being recognized for the eighth time as a “Great College to Work For” by The Chronicle of Higher Education, a top trade publication for colleges and universities.

The �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� at Tuscarawas Performing Arts Center’s 2017-2018 season will feature diverse and high-quality performances that include concerts, Broadway, comedy, family and holiday shows.

This month marks the first anniversary of Pokémon GO’s worldwide release that sent crowds hiking through parks, meandering into streets and walking for miles in search of Pokémon.
