Submitting a report related to concerns on this topic will result in a review by the Office of Student Conduct. Follow-up action may be taken as deemed appropriate by the Office of Student Conduct. The Office of Student Conduct may contact the reporting person for follow-up. Anonymous reports may limit the Office of Student Conduct’s response options.

Discrimination and Harassment
¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State encourages an atmosphere where the diversity of its members is understood and appreciated – an atmosphere that is free of discrimination and harassment based on the categories below.
It is the policy of the university that there shall be no unlawful discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, ancestry, genetic information, military status or identity as a disabled veteran or veteran of the Vietnam War, recently separated veteran or other protected veteran.

Title IX and Sexual Misconduct Reporting
is a federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs or activities operated by recipients of federal financial assistance (such as ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State). The Title IX law requires that no person in the United States, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. Prohibited conduct includes any form of gender-based discrimination defined as sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence or stalking. Title IX's sexual harassment prohibitions apply to all students, faculty, staff and visitors.
¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Threatline
Threatline is an anonymous messaging tool used to tell the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Police about non-urgent suspicious, concerning or disruptive activity occurring on the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Campus. If the matter you are concerned about did not happen on the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Campus, please contact your local police agency.

Senate Bill 1
Effective June 27, 2025, Senate Bill 1 allows students, faculty and student groups to file complaints that may be based on the following:
- Complaints by students, student groups or faculty members alleging violations of the diversity, equity and inclusion prohibitions under Ohio Revised Code Section 3345.0217 and University Policy 3342-5-24.
- Complaints that a university administrator, faculty member, staff or student has allegedly interfered with the intellectual diversity rights prescribed under Ohio Revised Code Section 3345.0217 and University Policy 3342-5-24.
- Complaints by students, student groups or faculty members regarding an alleged violation of the requirements and prohibitions regarding equal opportunity and nondiscrimination under Ohio Revised Code Section 3345.88.
