What prevents some students in low-income, ethnically diverse school districts from succeeding? A �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� researcher suggests it may have a lot to do with their ability to envision bright, future career pathways.

I am pleased to announce that the two candidates for the position of vice president for human resources will be on campus this week. As part of the interview process, each candidate will participate in a public presentation, which will include remarks and a question-and-answer period.

WKSU reporter/host Amanda Rabinowitz has been recognized by the Radio-Television-Digital News Association (RTDNA) with a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Writing. The Murrow Awards are considered among the most-prestigious broadcast media awards. 

Virginia Dressler, University Libraries, presented “Digitally Archiving History: A Game Plan for Large, Unruly Archival Collections with Limited Staffing” at the Archiving 2016 Conference at the National Archives in Washington, D.C., on April 20, 2016.

Catherine L. Smith, Ph.D., School of Library and Information Science, presented a paper titled "Process-learning as a Factor in Evaluation" at the First International Workshop on System And User-Centered Evaluation Approaches in Interactive Information Retrieval (SAUCE) in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, in March 2016.

Rebecca Meehan, Ph.D., School of Library and Information Science, published an article titled “Improving Continuity of Care in Long Term Care: Impact of Health Information Exchange” in the fall 2015 issue of Journal of Health Information Management (JHIM).

�þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ�’s Division of Research and Sponsored Programs will be transitioning from Coeus to an updated electronic research administration system – Kuali Research. The Kuali Research system is an electronic research administration tool from KualiCo and is based on Coeus, for which support will be ending. Kuali offers many improvements including:

As part of the Summit Street: Building a Better Way improvement project, the East Campus Center Drive/Summit Street intersection will be closed May 16-22. During that time, motorists will not be able to access East Campus Center Drive from Summit Street or from Campus Center Drive. Barricades will be posted to prohibit traffic on that stretch of roadway.
