Cuyahoga River Kayaking Trip
- This trip will be held locally on the Cuyahoga River.
- They will meet at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center (or meet at Kramer Fields-just them know ahead of time!).
- From there, they will paddle to Brust Park in Munroe Falls. Will then take the shuttle back to the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.
- A staff member will be with you on the water for the entire trip.
- The trip is 4.0 miles long, is beginner-friendly, and no prior experience is needed.
- Trip is from 2-5 p.m.

Women's Soccer vs. Duquesne University
- Come on out to the Women's Soccer Home Opener at Dix Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 17 at 1 p.m.
Transfer Student Welcome
- Please note that if you are a transfer student new to ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´, checking in to this event is required.
- University Orientation and Visit Experience and the Center for Student Involvement invite all new transfer students to a special welcome reception.
- Reconnect with the TKS Ambassadors you met at orientation, meet and mingle with other incoming transfer students, get some KSU swag and play some games all while enjoying some Handel's ice-cream and other treats.
- This event will take place from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. in room 218 of the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Student Center.
- Students can attend at any point during this period. Please note for students that stay to the end of this event, are free to join a walking group that will go to Blastoff directly afterwards.
Blastoff
- Meet us at the Risman Plaza and Student Green on Sunday, Aug. 17 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. for a chance to meet student organizations (over 200), learn about ways to get involved on campus, play games, win prizes, snag exclusive giveaways, talk with various campus departments and services, and create new friendships!
- Make sure to stick around at 7 p.m. at the Student Green for a special, free concert sponsored by Undergraduate Student Government and KSU Athletics!
