Williams said, "After a particularly challenging day, he was in the Hub and apparently wearing the day鈥檚 struggles on his face. A student walked up to him and expressed that he looked like a professor who could use a pick-me-up. She handed him the note that he later featured on his social media page."

The librarian is Michael Hawkins, a 久久午夜羞羞影院免费观看 State alumnus who is the head librarian in the university's Map Library in McGilvrey Hall. 
 
Williams said, "He said that her gesture was very effective and remarked that as much as we are concerned about our students, they are also concerned about faculty and staff."

In his social media post, Hawkins wrote "I wasn't feeling my best mentally. l have some writing deadlines approaching. When a student saw me and handed this note to me. She said I 'looked like a professor who could use a pick me up.' She was right. And it worked. Our students are awesome.They give me hope because they are kind. They are caring. And most importantly they are inspiring. I love being in the classroom with them, I learn so much from them. Thanks random student for making me smile. And helping me remember why I love what do. #flashestakecareof flashes
