As a 19-year-old immigrant to the U.S., Sakr chose �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� because it was close to her new home in Cleveland and had a reputable fashion design program. Now an industry professional, she is giving back as a key faculty member.

�þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� celebrates its ninth American Academy commencement in Brazil, with 20 students participating. The program offers Brazilian students a unique opportunity to earn dual credits and explore majors before choosing to complete their degrees in the U.S. or Brazil.

�þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State’s ‘Mobile Flashes’ Program Brings Student Support to Area Seniors

�þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State's College of Public Health has launched a three-year initiative, funded by Medical Mutual, to enhance senior health and wellness in Greater Cleveland. The project includes a comprehensive community needs assessment involving over 20 senior centers, continuing education for senior center staff, and bi-weekly visits from �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State's "Mobile Flashes" student teams.

On July 19 and 26, �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� Admissions welcomes high school students and transfer students to campus for student-led tours. Visiting students and their parents learn about life at �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State, support services, programs of study and, sometimes, get to meet campus celebrities.
