Grants Provide Engineering Technology Students with High-Tech Electronic Equipment

Engineering technology students at �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� at Tuscarawas now have access to new state-of-the-art portable electronic equipment.

The high-tech equipment was purchased through the Governor’s Office of Appalachia (GOA) and the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) Workforce Development Grant for $182,000 with funding from Ohio Mid-Eastern Governments Association (OMEGA), Tuscarawas County Commissioners, �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ�, Buckeye Career Center, OhioMeansJobs, Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce, and the Tuscarawas County Foundation.

IN A FLASH: Dressing up for Downs

Dress Up for Downs, a �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State student organization recently held its 8th annual fashion show fundraiser . The event, themed "Hollywood Heroes," featured a runway show with designs by �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State fashion design students and raised over $3000 for the Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Ohio.

The Women in Aviation International (WAI) Chapter at �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� has received a $5,000 donation from Republic Airways, an official partner of the university's College of Aeronautics and Engineering's (CAE).
