I returned to �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� in July of 2024, as the Managing Editor of �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State Today. Prior to this, I worked for more than 30 years in broadcast news, producing and executive producing everything from daily newscasts to election night coverage to political debates. During that time, I was nominated for several Emmy and Associated Press awards. I am a two-time graduate of �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State, earning my B.S. in Broadcast News, followed by an M.A. in Public Relations.

I began working at �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� in August 2009 as the director of university media relations. In this role, I work with members of the media to tell the great stories about �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State, including its amazing students, faculty and staff. I love seeing, reading or hearing a �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State news story that I helped make happen.

I joined �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State in January 2019 after working as a digital content editor at the Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com, where I aided the development and implementation of the digital strategy for the newspaper. Along with the daily maintenance of the website, I managed social media accounts for Ohio.com and developed best practices for the newsroom's staff.

I'm an alumna of Northwestern University, earning a master’s degree in sports administration, and �þ���ҹ����ӰԺ��ѹۿ� State, earning a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication.
