¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Orchestra Celebrates Halloween with Family-Friendly Concert
Come dressed in your Halloween best for the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Orchestra’s Oct. 31, 3 p.m. concert. The members of the orchestra will be decked out in costume, performing spooky, family-friendly favorites. Candy will be handed out at the end of the performance to kick off ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ city’s official trick-or-treat that night.

Music Education Faculty and Doctoral Students Share Research at National Symposium
In late Sept., several ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Glauser School Music Education faculty members presented their latest work during research poster sessions at the biennial Symposium of the Society for Music Teacher Education (SMTE). The 2021 symposium was held virtually.

Live concerts return to the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Glauser School’s 2021-2022 concert season. New this season: All concerts and recitals will be ticketed. Corresponding adjustments have been made to pricing, and new subscription packages have been created to keep concerts affordable and accessible.
Jasmine Hines to Join Glauser School Music Education Faculty Fall 2021
Beginning this fall, the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Glauser School of Music will welcome Jasmine Hines to the music education department as an assistant professor. Her appointment in the newly created position follows a rigorous national search with a specialty in choral music education.

A new youth wind ensemble, led by the Glauser School's Wendy K. Matthews and colleagues Sarah Kois (M.M. '20) and Garrett Doty, comes to ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ in fall 2021.
