The ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Board of Trustees has appointed Todd Diacon, Ph.D., ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State’s executive vice president and provost, as its next university president at a special Board meeting held Monday, April 29.

Presidential Search Committee Update
On behalf of the Presidential Search Committee, we would like to express our appreciation for your thoughtful input as we begin the active phase of our national search for ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State’s next president. Through a series of open meetings and an online survey, we have received nearly 500 comments and suggestions articulating the strengths and characteristics you believe are most important in our next president.

As chair of the Presidential Search Committee, it is my pleasure to provide you with this initial update on the committee’s progress in launching a comprehensive national search for ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State’s 13th president, as authorized last week by the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Board of Trustees. Both the Board and the committee are committed to pursuing a search that yields the very best outcome – an accomplished, visionary and inspirational president to lead ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State to its brightest future and who will be the right leader at the right time.
