New Partnership Between ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State and Bio-Med Science Academy STEM School to Bring Elementary Education Back to University’s Schwartz Center
Beginning fall 2027, Bio-Med Science Academy will relocate its grades K-6 programs to ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´â€™s Schwartz Center. The Schwartz Center, which opened in 1956 as the home of the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ School, a laboratory school that served generations of student teachers, will return to its original purpose as a school building.
Student Creates Sculpture for Hospital Healing Garden
The School of Art Collection and Galleries is pleased to announce "Metamorphosis," a permanent sculptural installation created by Violet Maimbourg, a Master of Fine Arts graduate student at ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´.
Taking Their Stories From Concept to ComicCon
Last summer, 12 ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State students in the university's Visual Communication Design program worked with Route Eight Studios to learn about the real-world challenges artists face in creating comic books. "Flash Fiction" is the result - an anthology of stories written and illustrated by students creators.
