IN A FLASH: Undergraduate Researchers Visit ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´
¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State welcomed undergraduate researchers from our university, Cleveland State University and the University of Akron to the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Campus for the 19th annual Northeast Ohio Undergraduate Research Symposium.
Kicking Off the Fall Semester With Pride
Before classes began for Fall Semester 2024, the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Queer Plus (LGBTQ+) Center welcomed the university's LGBTQ+ community back to campus with a Fall Kickoff event.

Fulbright Scholars at ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State for American Higher Education Immersion
For the past month, ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ has hosted 37 international graduate students as part of the Fulbright Pre-Academic Program, a monthlong immersion in American higher education and culture. The group, from 26 countries, arrived on the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Campus on July 21 and was scheduled to depart on Aug. 17 to begin their graduate programs at universities throughout the country.

The white coat at ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State’s College of Podiatric Medicine’s White Coat Ceremony is presented as a reminder of the professionalism required by students, in their studies at ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State and later as they become podiatric physicians.

When U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg visited ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State this summer, he and U.S. Representative (and ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State alumna) Emilia Sykes toured the College of Aeronautics and Engineering and the May 4 Visitors Center.
The Dogs Have Their Day on Campus
Each August, ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State welcomes alumni and their canine companions to campus for one of the most anticipated events of the year, the "Dog Days of Summer."
