Museum and Student Group Partnership Stitches Together a Greener Future
A new partnership between the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Museum and the Fabric Pantry, a student-led organization dedicated to providing free fabric to ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State students, offers students the resources they need while promoting environmentally responsible fashion practices.

Members of the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ community joined together to cause a ripple effect of change reaching far beyond ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State, raising more than $4.9 million to support scholarships and programs across the university for its Giving Tuesday 2024 campaign.

¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´'s Surplus Store, located on E.Main Street offers a variety of useful items including furniture, electronics, office supplies and a fascinating selection of antique maps and books, with many books that are more than 100 years old. The store is a reflection of ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State's commitment to sustainable practices and disposing of items that are no longer needed by the university.

The ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Board of Trustees welcomed the Class of 2028 during its regular quarterly meeting held Sept. 18 in Crawford Hall and congratulated the university administration for this year’s strong enrollment.

¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ recently concluded its most successful fundraising campaign in its 114-year history. The Forever Brighter campaign ended in June 2024, having raised more than $383.2 million total.
