¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State Board Endorses New Structure for Academic Colleges, Establishes Three New Majors
The ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Board of Trustees met March 19 on the ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Campus for its regular quarterly meeting. Among its actions, the Board endorsed the Division of Academic Affairs’ plan for degree-granting colleges called Transformation 2028.
Statewide Tornado Drill to Be Conducted Wednesday, March 19
Ohio is conducting a statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, March 19, at 9:50 a.m. All ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ campuses will be participating in this test.
Fully Online Programs Offer Flexibility, Quality
The national trend of fully online enrollment has been decreasing since the pandemic, but ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State’s online programs are bucking those trends. ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State offers 90 fully online degree and certificate programs. From bachelor’s to master’s degree programs, the university provides its nationally distinctive academics completely online.

The former basketball standout at ¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State will become just the second Golden Flash to earn a gold jacket, joining linebacker Jack Lambert who was enshrined in 1990.

¾Ã¾ÃÎçÒ¹ÐßÐßÓ°ÔºÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ State accounting majors have excellent employment prospects. The projected growth rate for accountants is six percent from 2022-2033.
